Global Bridge provides expertise and services that bridge cultures and fosters the development of business partnerships across global and ethnic boundaries. Founded in 2016 in Ningxia, China, Global Bridge is positioned to take advantage of the rapid development of northwest China and favorable government policies such as One Belt, One Road. Global Bridge’s goal is to promote the growth of businesses in Ningxia through providing services that encourage partnerships between Ningxia and overseas businesses as well as helping develop growth in Ningxia exports.
Global Bridge is an independent division of Manas Development Group. Since 2005, Manas Development Group (MDG) has focused on building businesses in frontier markets. MDG has experience in 20+ countries and enables local and international businesses to compete in markets around the world. MDG currently has offices in Washington, DC, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Morocco, and Afghanistan.
James serves as Global Bridge’s executive director helping to define strategy and approving all major decisions and projects. He is also the owner of Foxworthy and Associates, LLC where he provides executive coaching and counsel for leaders across multiple industry segments. He has over thirty years of executive leadership experience in healthcare and manufacturing. James served as Chief Administrative Officer for the turnaround of a $3 billion rehabilitation healthcare company. He directed consolidation, transformation and development of a shared services organization for three companies. He has served as division leader for seven manufacturing operations with assets of $1 billion and over $1.4 billion in sales, and he led corporate shared services for a $3 billion manufacturing company with 15,000 employees in 95 locations. James is an executive coach and leadership development specialist certified in leadership assessments with extensive experience in all facets of Human Capital Management.
Chris implements Global Bridge’s strategy and oversees daily operations. Chris has spent eight of the last twelve years in China. He has lived in two different regions of China, and has visited all the major regions of China from Guangdong in the southeast to Xinjiang in the far west. His experience includes researching market entry opportunities for companies seeking to invest in China as well as exploring Ningxia sourcing options and serving as a cultural bridge for clients as they visit Ningxia and consider partnership opportunities with Ningxia businesses and factories.
Taylor serves as Global Bridge’s Sales Manager and Cultural Intelligence Expert. He is responsible for managing and developing sales operations throughout China as well as growing business relationships between Global Bridge and companies throughout Ningxia. In January 2018, Taylor was certified through the Cultural Intelligence Center as an Advanced Facilitator in the field of Cultural Intelligence. Taylor has lived in China since 2013 and is proficient in Chinese language and culture. Taylor holds a degree from the University of Alabama Birmingham in Cultural Anthropology and is currently working towards a Masters of Business Administration from West Texas A&M University. His educational background makes him a valuable asset to our team and clients in helping to bridge cultural gaps. He has travelled extensively throughout the world and has 10 years of experience in sales and marketing with 4 of these years working internationally. In his free time, Taylor along with his wife and daughter enjoy traveling, the outdoors and trying new foods from around the world.
Human Resources Manager
Kevin Zhang is originally from Shanxi province. He is a native Chinese speaker with excellent English speaking skills who understands both Chinese and Western cultures. Kevin graduated from medical college in 2007 and practiced medicine for one year in Taiyuan, Shanxi province. Then, for 5 years Kevin worked in medical tourism in Beijing helping international clients navigate Beijing’s medical facilities. Kevin serves as Global Bridge’s human resource manager. He is also a great translator and very effective at helping internationals navigate China and understand Chinese culture.
